The species was first introduced to the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons system via the 1981 Fiend Folio.     While casual fans watched Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Not knowing how useful aarakocra could be to Edgin before the escape plan unfolds, veteran Dungeons & Dragons players may recognize the irony. In the Dungeons & Dragons lore, aarakocra has no interest in treasure and has no concept of ownership or boundaries. Game players might think that Edgin’s plan is to appeal to aarakocra’s honorable nature by talking about his supposed change of heart.

    Aaracokra is usually a good neutral when it comes to aligning Dungeons & Dragons. They do not like to take sides and stay out of the conflicts of other races. This makes aaracokra like Jarnathan the perfect choice for Absolution’s council Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. He would theoretically be objective when it came to deciding a prisoner’s fate. He will not lean too much towards law or too much toward anarchy, and balance out any other council members’ prejudices. Jarnathan is only used as a joke Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thievesbut his existence has layers that harken back to the original game and flesh out the world of the movie.
